December has been one of our busiest months with dozens of projects passing through our woodshop. Along with several live edge mantels and bartops, we recently completed a number of stunning tables, including three we wanted to feature.
Black Walnut Live Edge Table with Bench

A combination of four Black Walnut slabs was used to build this one-of-a-kind live edge table with a matching bench. The table and bench legs were shaped to match and we forged custom metal trestles for each piece. A final coat of oil and finish brought the walnut color to life, showcasing the vibrant figure in the wood and the bright highlights of sapwood bands.
Siberian Elm Table & Bench

Working in a smaller space requires just the right design and we found it with this Kitchen-Dining Nook Table and Bench. The Siberian Elm matches nicely with the home’s flooring and the stone-resin inlays bring a pop of color and interest to the tabletop. Simple, minimalistic metal legs add to the elegance of the seating area.
Black Walnut Bookmatch Table

Two large Black Walnut slabs from the same tree were used to create this impressive live edge dining table. Our clients also requested a unique base design, incorporating both metal and wood in a balanced criss-cross shape, which was challenging to build but the perfect choice for their home’s style.
