Heart of the Home:
The Eastwood Rios Home
Some projects are special because of the craftsmanship. Others are special because of the relationship built along the way. The Eastwood Rios Home is both.
Over time, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on multiple spaces throughout their home. Each one has been thoughtfully designed, beautifully executed, and deeply personal. What started as one project naturally grew into a cohesive story told through wood, texture, and intentional detail.
A Statement Entry: Custom Stair Treads
The staircase is often one of the first architectural features you notice when entering a home, and in the Eastwood Rios residence, it sets the tone immediately.
Custom stair treads bring warmth and structure to the space, grounding the home with natural material and craftsmanship. The wood’s character adds movement and dimension, creating a seamless transition between levels while elevating the entire interior.

The Living Room: A Stained Mantel
Above the fireplace, a stained mantel anchors the living space with understated elegance.
This piece ties together the surrounding elements while adding depth and contrast. A mantel may seem simple at first glance, but when carefully selected and finished, it becomes a defining architectural detail.

The Office: A Siberian Elm Floating Desk
One of our favorite pieces in this home is the floating desk crafted from Siberian Elm.
Siberian Elm offers incredible grain movement, making it a striking yet refined choice for a workspace. By designing it as a floating desk, the room maintains an open, airy feel while still delivering a bold, functional focal point. It’s a perfect example of how natural wood can make a home office feel both productive and inspiring.

The Laundry Room: Black Walnut Shelving
Even utility spaces deserve thoughtful design.
Custom Black Walnut shelving in the laundry room adds warmth and continuity while maximizing storage. Instead of treating the space as an afterthought, this above-unit shelf helps carry the home’s overall aesthetic into every corner. It’s proof that functional spaces can still feel custom and curated.

The Mudroom: Black Walnut Countertops & Built-In Benches
The mudroom is where function meets durability… but that doesn’t mean it can’t be beautiful.
We installed rich Black Walnut countertops paired with custom built-in benches, transforming the space into something far beyond practical. Alongside the colorful wallpaper, the Walnut’s deep tones add sophistication, while its strength ensures these high-traffic surfaces stand the test of time. The result is a mudroom that feels intentional, elevated, and cohesive with the rest of the home.

A Home Built on Cohesion
What makes the Eastwood Rios Home truly stand out isn’t just one feature; it’s the continuity. No matter which room you’re in, each project speaks the same design language: warm tone, organic movement, and timeless craftsmanship.
It’s been an honor to contribute to multiple spaces in their home and to see how each piece complements the next. This is what we love most: helping clients create environments that feel cohesive, intentional, and uniquely theirs.
If you’re building, renovating, or looking to add custom wood elements to your home, we’d love to help bring your vision to life.
